These are from a week's trip to Mallorca in May 2007.

I expected an island ruined by mass tourism and endless hotels but with its interesting towns and stunning natural beauty I was pleasantly surprised by Mallorca.

Based in the quiet resort of Cala Pi in the south, we hired a car and explored as much of the island as we could, visiting caves, beaches, idyllic bays, harbours and picturesque towns with narrow cobbled streets.
