Iceland

I spent 14 months in Iceland on a work placement, from September 2007. Iceland's isolation, sparse population, history and especially its landscapes make it very special. As a place to live, it's hard to beat.

Based in Reykjavik, I made numerous trips out of the capital and I managed to see most the island. A ten day trip in the summer of 2008 allowed me to get to the interior, north and east of the country.
