The last time I went to Cyprus was back in 1996. When I was young I used to visit my relatives every couple of years. I have about 20 cousins who were about my age and I have good memories of us playing at the beach and going on trips to the mountains. Then most of them got married, I started travelling and there were suddenly lots of new places I wanted to go to, hence the eight year absence.

Because of my South Africa volunteer placement at the end of 2004, I didn't have much holiday remaining. I thought a 10 day trip would be just right and would give me enough time to see some parts of the country I've never had the chance to visit, as well as catching up with the relatives.

Equipment
Canon EOS 30E with 28-90mm Canon lens.

Film was Fuji Superia 400 print film, apart from the last three which were Fuji Reala 100. Circular polariser used in most photos.
