Having done three trips already with the Green Tortoise I wanted more of the same.

The last three trips were in the lower 48; the beauty of the south western states had drawn me back again and again, but I've always been attracted to the wilderness, remoteness and wildlife of Alaska.

It lived up to all the expectations and more; glaciers, iceberg-filled oceans, hikes though places that made me feel like Frodo, plenty of wildlife, white water rafting and even a glimpse of northern lights.

Equipment
Most photos taken with a Canon EOS 30E with 28-90mm and 75-300mm Canon lenses, Fuji Superior 400.
(The last few were taken with disposable cameras) :-)
