A 15 day trek on the Annapurna Circuit in September 2022.

This was my third visit to Nepal. The last few stops on this trek saw me return to some towns that I'd visited 20 years earlier.

From Kathmandu we took the bus to our starting point at Nagdi. From there we hiked to Jagat, Bagarchhap, Chame, Pisang, Manang, Ledar, Thorong High Camp, over the Thorong La pass at 5,416m before starting our descent to Muktinath, and then to Jharkot, Kagbeni and Jomsom. The bus to Tatopani was cut short due to landslides which meant we had to hike the last 15km. The persistent rain delayed us in Tatopani for an extra day and meant we had to skip Ghorepani and Poon Hill. Instead we hiked past several landslides to Beni, and from there travelled by bus to Pokhara. To spare myself from another gruelling bus journey I flew back to Kathmandu where I spent my final day.
