Westfjords
We drove to Stykkishólmur on the Friday evening, and took the ferry next morning to Brjánslækur on the south coast of the Westfjords.
On the Saturday we drove clockwise around to Ísafjörður, stopping at the cliffs at Látraberg, the western most point of Europe, and the stunning Dynjandi waterfall.
On the Sunday we drove around the long and winding fjords to the eastern coast of the fjords, then up around the Strandir coast towards the isolated and almost abandoned town of Djupavik, before heading back down towards Reykjavik.
